This summer I decided to give Shea Moisture a try! I was skeptic at first but heard so many people say great things about it so I decided to try it! I also was in need of a great shampoo that didn't make my hair feel rubbery afterwards, so I figured this company would be worth a try.

Here are my thoughts!
SHAMPOO:
Unlike the feeling of disappointment that normally follows that, my hair literally felt AMAZING!!!! Like, I'm pretty sure I screamed because my hair didn't feel like rubber, like it does when I use any other shampoo.
My hair felt/feels like I just co-washed, except I shampooed lol. The smell is amazing too and has a really good consistency. I also thought the bottle was going to be too small for $10, BUT I still have the majority of the bottle left after using it for 3 months so thumbs up for that!

HAIR MILK:
I have been unable to find a moisturizer for my hair that didn't leave my hair feeling uber greasy. Shea butter doesn't work well for me in the summer apparently, so I figured why not head over to Target and get some Shea Moisture lol. The shampoo didn't fail me, so I figured this line was a line I could depend on!
I headed to my nearest Target and grabbed a bottle of the Curl and Style Conditioning Milk. From what I heard (read lol) by Milan, at http://www.agrlcanmac.com/, it leaves your hair feeling soft and fluffy. So, that had me sold! lol
After using it for about 2 months, I WONT complain! lol I love the smell, of course. The consistency is thick enough where it doesn't weight your hair down. Like, thick enough to still be light lol. It doesn't leave any residue and leaves my hair feeling uber soft without feeling greasy.
I rub it on my twists when they're feeling dry, apply it to my hair before wearing a twist out, and when I'm wearing a puff.
2 THUMBS UP to Shea Moisture! I've heard some great things about the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, but 1) I've vowed not to buy any more products until my 1 year HAIRversary and 2) I can't say that I'm having problems with my hair to the point that I would need it.
Freedom's treating me pretty well these days :)
